Giorgi Rukhadze: Reality will change if the opposition insists on its own

If the opposition insists on its own, tries to withstand the pressure, then reality will change. And if before the first parliamentary session the Western partners insisted on the opposition’s entry into parliament, now they will be forced to reconsider their position. If the West is convinced that there is no other chance, and instead of a multi-party parliament, Georgia will have a one-party parliament, then the partners will increase pressure on the authorities to call re-elections.

It will take time for the Western partners to realize that the “ordinary small-scale errors” in the elections in Georgia this time played an important role – thanks to which the “Georgian Dream” managed to remain in power in the majority.
